QuakeLive – Get Fragging!

Well it’s about time. From tomorrow night QuakeLive.com is going…er…live and opening it’s beta to the public. I signed up for a closed beta invite a little while ago and didn’t get so much as a confirmation email. I’m intrigued, I want to try ID software’s first person shooter in a browser so I’ll either stay up late tomorrow, or get up early on Wednesday. Anybody fancy getting fragged?

Everybody Loves Google

I noticed this interesting article about Google on Techmeme today. Could there be a Microsoft sized backlash brewing against Google? I don’t think so. I can see why Google’s competitors might want to stir up trouble with antitrust suits but I think the average user doesn’t care. All the user cares about is that they feel that they are getting the best search results.
